Texas is my home. Texas is who I am. When I leave the country and am asked where I am from, I am first a Texan and secondly and American. I found this image on Google images and I think it is a great representation of how Texans think.  Our flag is a sense of pride and it takes up our whole heart.  Once a Texan always a Texan.  What stands out to me in this picture is how the flag takes up the whole state.  I believe this is symbolic because when you are from Texas it takes up your whole heart.  When you think about states and what they add to our country as a whole Texas makes a profound statement.  Nothing else is needed in this picture because as it is the picture stands for everything Texan.
